United Edu-Care Preschool in the Bronx

United Edu-Care Preschool is a private nursery school fully licensed by the New York City Department of Health. 

Children at United Edu-Care Preschool discover that learning is fun.  Through creative activities and group interaction, recognizable growth takes place.  Our objective is to help your child develop self-esteem, an eagerness for learning, social and spiritual growth, and the ability to think and work independently.

We place emphasis on the individual child, and this, of course, involves you as parents because home and Preschool must cooperate for your child’s development. United Edu-Care Preschool is recognized as one of the best preschools in the Bronx, as many of its students have been awarded placement in the Gifted and Talented program.

Our History

United Edu-care Preschool was founded on September 2, 1997 and is owned and operated by United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) Inc.  It commenced operation as a day care center under the name of United Edu-Care Child Center. The program now operates at full capacity to accommodate 50 children. Plans are being made to acquire additional space for the expansion of the program. It is located in the Wakefield section of the Bronx at 3950 Bronxwood Ave, Bronx NY 10466.
